Welcoming а New Day

From the Nature Tales series

Inspired by the children's book The Sun — the Golden Alarm Clock

A Little Sunshine for Every New Day ☀️

What if the first thing a child saw each morning was a smiling sun, ready to greet the world?

Welcoming а New Day is a warm and playful watercolor illustration that celebrates the simple happiness of waking up, welcoming a new morning, and discovering all the wonderful things a day might bring.

Dressed in blue pajamas covered with golden stars, a cheerful little sun peeks out from beneath a cozy blanket. Its gentle smile seems to whisper that every morning holds something good.

Inspired by my children's book The Sun — the Golden Alarm Clock, this artwork is part of my Nature Tales series, where the natural world comes alive through stories, imagination, and gentle humor.

A Touch of Warmth for Spaces Where Children Grow

With its sunny yellows, soft blues, and cheerful character, this illustration brings warmth and a sense of comfort to children's spaces.

It is a lovely choice for nurseries, children's bedrooms, playrooms, reading corners, kindergartens, preschools, children's libraries, and early learning centers.

Whether displayed above a child's bed, beside a favorite bookshelf, or in a welcoming classroom, Welcoming а New Day creates a little corner of sunshine — a friendly reminder that every new day is full of possibilities.

From the Artist's Collection

The original artwork was presented at my solo exhibition The Secret Life of Nature, held in Minsk in June 2026.

Created as part of a larger artistic and literary project, Welcoming а New Day brings together watercolor painting, children's literature, and the imaginative world of nature.
