Hey Everyone.
I'm hard at work on the 1 year anniversary episode right now. I'm about 3500 words into the script. I figured what better way to celebrate 1 year was to dive into the book on the pandemic.
The Premonition by Michael Lewis was the book that made me realize that we need to look at survival and preparedness differently. At the crux of our national pandemic plan was the inability to move the ball past conventional thinking because of relationships the players who had the new ideas either had or didn't have. There was a fair amount of gatekeeping going on on top of that. It's wild. I drop in my experiences with the pandemic from where I sat, which was in a call center at a company called Inogen. We sold portable oxygen concentrators to COPD and Lung Cancer patients mainly. It's going to be a wild episode.

In the pipeline is a look at the whole Tik Tok ban fiasco and why it's important to understand the media and what they are telling you. If you watched CNN or Fox, they're telling you that Tik Tok is already banned just a matter of time before they enforce it. Truth is, it isn't even out of committee, let alone through the House and Senate. So I can't wait to bring that.
