It has admittedly been a rough finish to the end of the year, as my grandmother just passed away and it’s been a difficult couple of days. But my world brightened a bit when I found some messages in my inbox letting me know that Women Who Code DFW nominated me for this award at their end of year celebration. Every day I am honored to be a part of the @wwcodedfw community, and I am so incredibly grateful for this recognition. It’s been so rewarding to be a part of a group of women who are so strong in their motivation and support of each other.
