Content Creator DJ Strick, along with community leaders and Birmingham area Walmart stores (Lakeshore, Irondale and Roebuck) will hold a Christmas shopping spree for Birmingham kids (ages 5-10) on Dec. 10, 2021. Selected children who receive a golden ticket will have 10 minutes to spend $250 each in the toy section of Walmart.
Strick City is proud to hold the shopping spree for Birmingham kids as many have parents who’ve lost jobs this year, lost homes, and maybe even family and friends due to Covid-19. Strick City, Walmart, and supporters are all devoting time and resources to make Christmas very special for these kids. We would like to have media coverage to push registration for the event and media coverage on location the day of the event.
We currently have the budget for 30 kids and as more donations come in, we will do more.
