Hello, LeetCode non-premium users. I know how it feels when you click the Company names and it turns out we need to buy premium. Presenting an extension/add-on currently made for Chrome and Firefox browsers that returns company names when you are solving a problem.
So in 2022, I used a premium for a temporary period which is owned by one of my seniors. After the completion of the subscription period on November'22, I asked them to renew the subscription. But they were not that much interested in that. For me, Leetcode premium was always to see which Companies have asked a problem.
So after seeing no renewal opportunities, I made a plan to build an extension which at least can give the list of Companies that have asked a certain question in their technical interview.
That's why I build LeetCode - Which Company (https://github.com/ssavi-ict/LC-Which-Company) for myself. Any interested user who is solving technical interview questions in Leetcode can use it for free.
🢂 I have uploaded this extension to the Mozilla Add-On store. I would request you to use it if you are a Firefox user. Download it from this firefox add-on link. Please share your feedback on this GitHub repository or in the Firefox add-on store.
🢂 To use it in Google Chrome follow the steps mentioned in This Link. I am looking for someone who has a chrome web store developer account and who can upload this extension from his/her account. It is completely safe and will not require permissions except for browser tabs as of now. I am continuously upgrading my database containing problem links, names, and company information. Right now, the updation tasks are done on my own. However, I welcome contributions regarding problems and company names.
There are some plans regarding including some other helpful updates like adding solution links, showing problems list for a company on a page, etc. I will be on it soon. I would like to thank B M Marjan Khan, my fellow colleague and a very good friend of mine for continuous support and feedback.
Here is an illustration of how this extension works
When solving a problem if you click on the? icon from the extensions/add-ons list -
If the extension is able to find the Company Names for the Leetcode problem on the current window then it will show as follows - found
If the extension is not able to find the Company Names for the Leetcode problem on the current window or if the current window is not a Leetcode problem then it will show as follows - not found.
If the extension is clicked on a non-Leetcode site then it will show as follows - not found.
