About South Island by Van
We’re Vikki and Ben, seasoned motorhome travellers lucky enough to call New Zealand’s South Island home, based in Christchurch. Over the years, we’ve explored New Zealand, the wilderness of Canada and Alaska, and road-tripped across Europe and the UK by van, so we know just how enjoyable and freeing travelling by campervan can be.
We created our website to share our knowledge and tips, and to help other travellers discover everything the South Island has to offer on the road. We hope you find it useful, inspiring, and full of ideas for your own adventures.
