Today I have been thinking about how Jesus was never afraid to be with the people society rejected.
He sat with the sick.
He touched the untouchable.
He saw the heart of the ones everyone else walked past.
He did not care what people whispered about Him.
He did not wait for status or approval.
He did not ask for a seat at the table because He was too busy flipping the tables that needed flipping.
He fed crowds with little.
He made miracles out of scarcity.
He brought hope where others brought judgment.
He stood up for what was right even when it made people uncomfortable.
And He gave us the greatest gift humanity has ever known.
If we lived more like Jesus, even a little, imagine the world we could create.
A world where the forgotten are seen.
A world where the hungry are fed.
A world where grace is louder than greed.
A world where courage looks like compassion.
We may not be perfect, but we can choose to walk in His footsteps one small act at a time.
