My journey started in 1985 when I got my first set of comic books (DC and Marvel). I have lived through the times like many in my community when we had to buy comics from outside Saudi Arabia because back then the local shops only had Arabic comics incl. Arabized reprints of US editions. This was the 80s, but it ignited the fire

Fast forward to 2017, I attended Saudi Arabia's first ever comic con. Something changed that day within me. Looking at people like me gathered in one place, proudly wearing their geek badges inspired me to tell their story as well as mine. First I started with instagram and later Youtube

Since then, my content has diversified from blogging and vlogging about local geek activities and reviews about superhero projects from DC and Marvel Universes to Podcasts, Gaming vlogs and famous comic book celebrities. Today, I'm actively producing content for Geek community in Saudi Arabia and GCC on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Twitch while also being active on Twitter

The interesting bit is that I have done most of it using only an old iPhone SE

The last four years have been FANTASTIC despite the struggles of being a boot-strapped content creator. Most recently I interviewed famous comic pop artist Des Taylor, known for his work for DC Bombshells variant covers

On the local front, I was fortunate enough to invite Saudia Radio host Dr. Nerrin Bamanie who also happens to be an avid comic book reader as well as a fan of superhero movies

Besides the above I met awesome collectors & cosplayers in Saudi Arabia, I also came across new and exciting businesses that cater to the geek community (Marvel, DC, Anime, Star Wars etc.) and I told their stories to the world because I want Saudi Arabia & GCC to be recognized as the ultimate destinations for Geekdom in the world
