Do I use Ai? Does an author use a Word Processor program or a typewriter? Ai made my code research much easier, but it makes mistakes, hallucinates and does not think out of the box, it's a "smart" tool but no cigar. I would be a total FOOL not to use it as it dramatically cuts my coding time and keeps me from throwing yet another computer out of the window.
Allow me to introduce myself. My Name is Albert Martinez and I'm a happily married unemployed programmer Bum (thank you Ai), but it's a mixed blessing because I now have all the time in the World to pour my heart out and create awesome Software using the very tool that got me wacked from my job. I love coding so much I wind up spending all day writing Software in my monkey cave. It's my passion and I'm away from my Wife's hair.
I have been coding since the mid 1980s when computers had 16K of memory and the C64 was the duck's guts. That was when Heath Kit was around, remember Heath Kit? Fast forward to today, Yada Yada Yada and here I am, an unemployed geekazoyd boomer with too much time on my hands.
Many Moons ago when I got stuck on a function, it would take me sometimes hours and lots of reference books (yes books) to research and refine my code, frustrating to say the least, then there's those pesky undocumented "features" that get discovered after hours of coding resulting in pulling my hair out !!! Ai changed all that and I use it to help me with my programming and maybe make some tips along the way.
My strengths, among other things, are Network Engineering, Wireless Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, Microchip Programming and Mechanics. I hold several highly valued certifications. I write Software using many languages and admittedly, I'm a little autistic... meaning I'm a pain in the arse.
Gratuities help out, they motivate me and keep me, my Wife and my little Hominids fed with bananas, so if you don't tip me I will climb to your bedroom window at night and knock on it with my tip cup yelling "Buddy can you spare a C note?"
