Slanted Theatre is a volunteer-run, cross-city theatre collective supporting Asian-identifying artists to create, experiment, and connect.

Founded in 2021, Slanted exists to make space for Asian stories, Asian creatives, and Asian leadership in an industry where these voices have historically been underrepresented or constrained. We have worked with over 200 artists in five years. We focus on development-led work, open-access Showcases, and culturally safe creative spaces where artists can try ideas, build confidence, and grow their practice without gatekeeping or pressure to be “market-ready.”
