I have been looking for something that will help me to get my song ideas down. I haven't played the piano for nearly a decade, so I was looking for something that wouldn't be too stressful and will go easy on my budget.
I was looking at a few different kinds of small keyboards, inspired by Charlie Puth and saw what he can do with a tiny keyboard and wanted to give it a crack.
I don't really know how I will go, but I have all these melodies down and I am not that great yet at the guitar and the keyboard is the easiest instrument I could think of that could help me get these tunes down.
I have plenty of lyrics. I am always adding more to my "Note" file on my iPhone. But it is all over the place and I haven't had the chance to really delve deeper into what kind of songs they are or what lyrics actually go together. I am just writing down what words come into my head with a melody and hope that I will remember the melodies that go with it.
I have not been to music school. The only training I've done is at high school where I took senior music.
I've learned the guitar, violin, cello and piano on and off for years but haven't stuck with any one instrument to even master it. So, this music thing is going to be a huge challenge.
