Today, May 23, 2025, has been a special, weird, strange all of the above kind of day. It's one day before Saturn enters Aries which happens late Saturday evening on May 24th. I have had this inkling for a while that I should start a podcast. It took me a little soul searching as to what I was going to talk about, but it all clicked during this past retrograde season.
It finally happened today. I have been building this show out for months. Today marks the first day of it published and listed to most of the directories. Rhythms and Retrogrades is LIVE!
This year of 2025 has started off very erratic, Mars retrograde, Venus & Mercury retrograde along with eclipse season. I don't even remember when the idea hit me, but I remember talking about it with a close friend. It kept building every time I got in the car I kept channeling a more clear idea of what I wanted to put out there. What do I want to be remembered for?
Every time I rode in the car and we talked it always went back to astrology or music. I realized I could talk about the two of them simultaneously for hours, this was it! This was the sparkle. This was the work I wanted to do. I even wrote a 30 second theme song. Am I going to use it? I'm not sure yet, it was so impulsive and written so quickly, I just may use it.
It's a show that breaks down pop-culture, trends, and planetary transits. If you love nostalgia, music history, and astrology this is the podcast for you, and if not, that's okay too. Because for once in my life this is something I created by myself on my own without being paid or asked to do so. I am doing it for the love of it and that is magical!
