A new season of travel begins, and in Episode One, I visit Pawnee Buttes National Grasslands in CO, and Vedauwoo in Wyoming, plus another spot along the way. Normally I don't start moving around until the middle of October, but this year my season ended early in RMNP, so I get to explore some new places before the snow flies.
