About Bill Shipley
While doing less legal work -- 38 years so far -- I find myself drawn more to writing about the court system. Working 34 years in federal courts, including 21 years as a DOJ prosecutor, allows me to demystify much about a system that takes place largely behind closed doors. My writing is for laymen, not lawyers, judges, and law professors -- although I know they are among my readers.
