Some houses are just not a match for your respiratory system.
Because apparently, in my rebuilding era, even the air I breathe has entered the chat.
Now before anyone thinks Iâm being dramaticâŠlet me explain.
When youâre rebuilding from survival mode, you learn quickly that stability is not just having a roof over your head.
Itâs being able to sleep, breathe, and being able to wake up and have enough energy to work, plan, think, and keep moving forward.
This current house sit served a purpose. It got us out of the heat. It gave us a place to land. And Iâm grateful for that.
But my body had a different review. đ
Between the old house smell, the allergens, and my respiratory system saying, âMaâam, absolutely not,â I was reminded that not every solution is a sustainable solution.
And that is the part people miss when they talk about rebuilding.
They think the goal is simply to find something.
A job.
A house.
A place to stay.
A solution.
But what happens when the thing you find only solves one piece of the puzzle?
Survival is not just about existing. Itâs about having enough stability to actually recover.
And sometimes rebuilding means admitting:
âYeahâŠthis worked for now. But this cannot be our forever.â
Another lesson learned on this wild ride.
Apparently, my lungs have standards too. đ
