Introducing: Adab AI

Introducing: Adab AI

imageOne of the pain points in my Arabic learning journey has been improving my Arabic writing. Writing is a separate skill than reading and listening. In the past year, I've become an intermediate listener and reader. But my writing is still lacking. If you are like me, and don't live in an Arabic country, or you are studying Arabic part time, how do you improve your writing?

There are 2 options:
1) You write things, then hire a tutor to review them.

2) You can use ChatGPT to have conversations in Arabic.

3) You can write based on prompts, and get instant feedback that guides you to improve your writing.

I have found that choice #1 is not feasible for me. I have already finished a large part of the Bayna Yadayk series which most tutors will teach from, and my Arabic composition is still bad. Besides, I don't have the time to study with a tutor at the moment.

Choice #2 is also unstructured and vague. I have used the chat feature but I want a curriculum of sorts to improve my writing level by level.

Choice #3 is what I am working towards. I would love to have an "interactive textbook" where the prompts guide you up a ladder of skill and you increase in your skill in composition and you get immediate feed back.

So I'm building Adab AI to help me become a better writer in Arabic.

PS: I made the logo using canva and it is a powerful tool. What do you think?
