Mental Authority

Mental Authority

Jan 31, 2023

image What is your Human Design "Authority"? This is the driver seat of your body's vehicle. Its the part of you that is meant to make all the decisions. We have all been brought up making decisions from our minds, but if you experiment with what your natural "Authority" (decision maker) is, you will find life opens up for you in ways that just feel more correct and aligned with who you are.

Your "authority" will depend on what Energy Type you are. And what centers are defined in your chart.

Understanding your Authority is like learning your unique inner GPS. When you start to make embodied decisions based on your correct authority, you begin to learn how to commit, want & choose what's aligned for you. Which makes your path in life more fluid and with a lot less road blocks that end up making you feel stuck.

The center in your body that holds all the powerful wisdom to help you make decisions small or large can be one of 7; Emotional, Sacral, Splenic, Ego, Self-Projected..
There are two additional Authorities that don’t exist within the body: Mental (Projectors) and Lunar (Reflectors).

MENTAL OR "ENVIRONMENTAL" AUTHORITY:

For Mental Projectors, depending on the individual's unique design; the ajna enter may be connected to the Head Center, the Throat Center, or all three centers may be connected. However, what is rare and unique is they have no center of inner personal Authority. In this case, the Mental Projector relies on sensory information from their open centers to receive guidance from the environment. They may ask themselves, "Is this environment correct for me?" as the first step in making a decision.

However, caution must be taken as the strength of the mind can intervene in decision-making. Physically visiting the environments in question and noticing how they "feel" to the individual can be a healthy and beneficial way to make decisions. Trusted advisers can also be helpful, but they should not be used to seek opinions or advice. Instead, they can be used as sounding boards to help the individual hear their own reflections about the decision. By recognizing the influence of your environment, you can make decisions that are in alignment with your true self.

...a poem for all you Mental Projectors...

"In the realm of Projector's minds,
Lies a unique and rare design,
Where inner Authority is hard to find,
And sensory information is their guide.

Connected centers; one, two or three is all,
They navigate through life's endless sprawl,
Trusting their inner voice to make the call,
Of whether to proceed or to stall.

For them, the environment is key,
A feeling of rightness must they see,
Else they'll sense something's off, uneasily,
And know that it's not where they're meant to be.

Though advisers they may have in tow,
Their own ruminations must they know,
As sounding boards, their advice may show,
But their own truth is what they must follow.

So trust the sensations deep within,
And let sensory guidance be your kin,
For in the realm of Projector's spin,
Your environmental process will be your win."
