F.F. Academy - Don't Fall Into Disruptive Desire

Do you delight in discovering all of who God created you to be, or are you so caught up in desire that you can't even enjoy your process of growth? Desire can be both manipulative and disruptive to natural process & journey of growth that we're on. Sometimes desire can make us think less of ourselves because we haven't achieved a certain goal or reached a certain status in life. And desire will even influence us to believe that we have to reach so far outside of ourselves to achieve our dreams. This is not true. Everything we need to create the life we want is initiated inside of us. We are equipped with the essentials and have the driving force of faith to help us navigate this world, showing all of who we are purposed to be in God. Delighting in the process of getting to know who your are, your beauty, your skills, your talent is a prerequisite to truly knowing and fulfilling the desires that have been placed inside of you by God. This process is also the same for getting to know your partner as you develop your relationship. Psalm 37:4-5 KJV Delight thyself also in the LORD; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to pass.
