A History of Jewish Terrorism Part 3

May 03, 2026

Systemic violence committed by Jewish settlers in the West Bank against the native Palestinian Arabs started to skyrocket in the early 1980s. This outbreak of terrorism coincided with the formation of a secretive organization called “the Jewish Underground”. This group was supposedly hunted down, arrested, and rendered inactive by the Israeli authorities, but violence persisted.

Following the Oslo Agreement in 1993, which was very unpopular in Israel, Jewish settler violence against the Palestinians reached yet new heights. In late 2022, these Jewish fanatics were legitimized by their being elected to Parliament and even obtaining prominent minister positions. In late February 2023, following the shooting and murder of two Jewish settlers in Har Brakha, the West Bank, by a Palestinian gunman, hundreds of Israeli settlers attacked Huwara and three other Palestinian villages. The Jewish terrorists set fire to businesses, a school, cars, and even houses, where many Palestinians were burned to death. In response to this, the local Israeli Army units stood by and did nothing, and did not intervene to stop the settlers. The Israeli commander claimed that he did not anticipate the violence and was not prepared for it.

Later that year, following the terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023, Jewish settlers in the West Bank were left unchecked by Israeli authorities to do what they saw fit. In April 2024, following the disappearance and murder of a local Israeli teenager, Israeli settlers set fire to eleven Palestinian settlements. In the rampage, four Palestinians were shot to death, and thousands of farm animals were killed. Twelve houses and 100 vehicles were also torched, killing an unknown number of people. WhatsApp messages between the Israeli settlers got leaked to the press, and they showed that the acts of terrorism were planned and coordinated.

In response to the January 20225 Israel-Hamas ceasefire, Jewish settlers in the West Bank attacked five Palestinian villages, setting fire to many houses and cars, killing an unknown number of people. Also, again, the Israeli authorities did little to constrain the settler terrorists.

The rest of 2025 brought even more settler terrorism with attacks against Palestinians and their property in Jinba, Mitzpe Yair, Duma, and Khallit al-Dabe. In total, since October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank by Jewish settler terrorists is 1,001.
