I only realized after completing this and adding it to my collection that this piece is the ‘from-the-bottom’ version of the previous “Touching the World” piece I did. I did not see it while I was creating this.
Sometimes things just turn out exactly the way they were meant to. Such as when Miah posting a casual dance pose for her zoom class whilst we were on full lockdown during the first wave of COVID here in NZ. My brain obviously kicked into overdrive and saw this instead in a flash.
I was happy that I managed to create what I saw in my mind, and that she was super happy with it! Creating new realities with random every day actions is always a goal for me.
If you love what you do, please do it with as much passion as possible. Because this image is proof, that even if its unrelated, how much of a positive impact it can have on those around you who don't even have anything to do with something like dance or vice versa, but the art will show through regardless.
