I’m slowly and gently easing into work on a new project about my family heritage, exploring themes of migration, estrangement, and identity. In December I’ll be at Artscape Gibraltar Point for a 2-week art residency where I’m really going to dig into the project, working closely with family archives, and manipulating the materials through photo collage, image transfer, and photo embroidery.
