Hello photo friends,
I was initially planning to send a thick April newsletter where I would share some reflections from my residency period in Banff, along with a big announcement sharing my upcoming projects and calls for participants. Instead, I’ve decided spring is the perfect time to host an in-person event!
So far, my project "Doorstep to Doorstep" has not been selected for exhibition by any arts organisations in Quebec. Knowing the highly competitive nature of contemporary art in Quebec and having a deep desire to present the work in the province of its creation, I’ve decided to host an exhibition at my studio. There will be an artist talk at 2pm with a Q&A with both the photographer and some of the project’s participants. An open edition print will be available for purchase. Please invite anyone you think might be interested to see my work!

If you’re in Toronto, I have a few images exhibiting at Gallery 44’s upcoming group show “What Matters?” This show will be opening on May 4 and I’ll be there right at the beginning!
For folks who aren’t able to attend either of these events, note that I’ll be sending a May newsletter announcing my upcoming projects.
