Hello there!
I'm Segun Akinyemi, a Christian, software engineer, and educator who loves building useful things to make life easier. You can check out my Charlotte Business Journal 40 Under 40 profile to learn more about me.
I'm the creator of Charlotte Third Places, a free guide to welcoming spots around Charlotte where people can work, hang out, study, and meet others. Think of coffee shops, cafes, bookstores, and libraries. Places beyond home and work where community happens. Check out the site's feature in The Charlotte Observer.
I also use my writing, open-source work, workshops, and student programs to help people understand software engineering and technology without the jargon, just keeping it real.
On a personal note, I'm an herbal tea fan (so this is really "buy me a tea"), a cinnamon roll connoisseur, and a huge anime fan with Steins;Gate being my all-time favorite.
