Greetings friends!
Can I write a short story in under 30 minutes? I am happy to report that I can.
I took on that self-imposed challenge after reading the following quote:
"Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.”
This is a quote from Kurt Vonnegut, writer of Slaughterhouse-Five. My wife shared the above text with me.
What should someone do with this quote? I don't know. Do whatever you want with it.
As for myself, I thought: What's the best way to live that? In my case: Writing and drawing. So I wrote a short story. It is called: "Just Cross the Highway."
