I recently had the opportunity to swim around Cape Point, the actual Cape Point. It is not as popular swim as the Freedom Swim from Robben Island, because it is a tricky swim and conditions really do have to line up well on the day, for a successful swim.
Fifteen of us signed up for the swim in November and then the waiting and training began... when the day arrived at the end of January, four of us made the journey... it was a splendid swim route, spectacular views and definitely going on my bucket list to swim again and raise some funds for the ocean!!!
