Each day Dreamer trains in the morning. Ground work to be comfortable, relaxed and balanced moving her feet where we want them. Then mom works on sitting on her. Going slow and helping her be relaxed with each tiny step. Today she jumped up and down on the ground next to her in preparation of dismounting onto the ground instead of the mounting block. She worked on turning her head with the new bitless bridle. Yesterday mom sat on Dreamer, mounting from both sides and jumped off onto the ground from both sides. Dreamer was perfect. Next she eats her soaked pellets on the yellow trailer. Each day getting in farther, becoming more relaxed and staying longer without needing to rush backwards. When she finishes eating she works on being tied somewhere. It might be the trailer or a hitching post. She is not hard tied. The rope is draped over and she us monitored. While standing she might get brushed or just hang out with Joker. She is learning to relax while tied and not fear it. She is doing fantastic.
