Sostieni The Cabinet of Scissor Curiosities

The Cabinet of Scissor Curiosities is a curated archive of information relating to scissors, shears, and their production. With a focus on Sheffield, England, but a worldwide remit, it includes examples of regional and period scissor styles, information about manufacturing and manufacturers, and links to further resources. The Cabinet will be of interest to craftspeople as well as those interested in art and social history.

It is intended to be an evolving resource, and one that we hope will find useful! If you've enjoyed visiting our virtual museum and want to support our work, please do buy us a coffee.
