One grounding technique that really helps a lot of people we know when feeling very dissociated or disconnected from the body and surroundings in any way is the 5-4-3-2-1 method:
Name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
We always recommend this even to systems who literally live with the most severe form of dissociation (DID/OSDD) and it does work.
