It has been a while since my last mail out. After a bit of a break to rejuvenate, I am out of winter hibernation and back into the 'spirit' of things, coming up with all sorts of content for the LLIFS Blog. Before we get to the new articles, here is what is happening with LLIFS!
ICYMI, Haunted Magazine Issue 39 is now available Worldwide where I have written an article looking at the folklore and myth behind the iconic tale of Picnic at Hanging Rock. Did you know the author wrote the book after 2 weeks of dreams and also described herself as a 'psychic'? Could there be more to the story? The way the author has successfully blurred the lines between fiction and reality is why the story remains such an iconic piece of Australian literary history.
I also have a feature in the 2023 edition of Hallozween magazine which is available digitally Worldwide. I have written about Beltane, mythical creatures and Min Min lights. I am also excited to see my friends from Australian Paranormal Society and Eerie Tours with features about Aradale and Dark Tourism along with lots of fantastic Australian Halloween articles and ideas. Halloween is slowly taking off here in Australia so it is an honour to be able to share a part of that with our wonderful spooky community.
I am very slowly getting back into doing interviews with people, something I avoided for a long time and a new writing project. I am not sure yet if it will be a blog series or a book (maybe both), but I will have lots to share as it comes about.
