Personal Assistance Startup Hulp Secures $2.6 Million in Seed Funding to Build an AI-Powered Concierge for Urban Households

Delhi-NCR based Hulp, a personal assistance and concierge platform, has raised $2.6 million, around Rs 25 crore, in a seed funding round co-led by Sparrow Capital and BITKRAFT Ventures, with participation from DeVC (Z47) and angel investors, including PB Fintech co-founder and chairman Yashish Dahiya.

Here's the everyday problem Hulp is solving. Urban life has quietly gotten more complicated, endless small tasks eat into people's time and energy, booking appointments, coordinating home services, managing schedules, handling government paperwork, or simply keeping up with routine errands. Hulp isn't trying to replace human support entirely, instead, it's building a hybrid model that combines dedicated personal assistants with AI-coordinated operations, letting users delegate daily, weekly, monthly and one-time tasks across more than 15 categories through the app or WhatsApp.

The fresh capital has a clear roadmap. Hulp plans to expand its AI-powered workflows across lifestyle, household and operational management, strengthen its senior leadership team, and improve its technology and product capabilities as it works toward scaling this hybrid AI-plus-human service model.

The founder story adds real weight here. Hulp was founded in April 2026 by Tarun Mathur, Neha Kulwal and Vishal Singh Khutel, with Mathur bringing direct relevant experience as the former co-founder and Chief Business Officer of PolicyBazaar, where he spent years scaling one of India's largest consumer platforms. The startup currently operates with a 50-member team across Delhi, Gurugram and Noida, and plans to expand into six additional cities.

The reality check worth noting here, this is a genuinely hard business to scale. Unlike purely automated software, Hulp's model depends on consistent human quality control even as the user base grows, meaning unit economics, keeping labour and delivery costs low while maintaining service quality, will be the real test, not the technology alone. The concierge and hyperlocal services space is also intensely competitive, and Hulp will need to prove its AI-plus-human combination offers something automated chatbots and traditional service providers simply can't match.

From managing household chores to handling paperwork, Hulp's seed round is a bet that India's urban households are ready to pay for time back, not just another app.
