Graph AI Raises $13.3 Million Series A Led by Insight Partners to Scale AI-Native Patient Safety Platform

California-based Graph AI, developer of the Graph Safety platform for pharmacovigilance and patient safety, has raised $13.3 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.

Here's the problem Graph AI is solving. Pharmacovigilance, the ongoing monitoring of drug safety after medicines reach the market, has traditionally scaled the way most legacy industries do, by adding more people and more processes around outdated systems. Graph Safety flips that model, giving pharma safety teams an intelligent system that absorbs the operational complexity of case processing while still preserving traceability, accountability and human oversight at every step, rather than replacing human judgement altogether.

The results in live deployments are striking. The platform has reportedly cut case processing turnaround time from over three hours to under 10 minutes, a reduction of more than 90%, while lowering operating costs for pharma clients by up to 66%. That's not incremental efficiency, that's a fundamentally different way of running safety operations.

The founder story matters here too. Graph AI was founded in 2024 by CEO Raghav Parvataraju, alongside enterprise technology veterans who built their careers at Google, Wipro, Infosys, LTI and ServiceNow, before turning their attention to one of pharma's most compliance-heavy, manual-intensive functions. The company had earlier raised a $3 million seed round led by Bessemer in October 2025, and has since brought two product modules to market, with a third launching this September.

The investor lineup adds credibility. Insight Partners, a major US-based software investor, is leading this round, while Bessemer's continued backing, including commentary from its India COO Nithin Kaimal, signals this is being watched closely across both American and Indian venture circles, especially as more India-connected founding teams build category-defining AI infrastructure for regulated, global industries.

The fresh capital will fund Graph AI's expansion across the US and Europe, and support onboarding for the pharmaceutical and biotech customers it has already signed across North America.

From manual case files to a 10-minute AI-native workflow, Graph AI's Series A is a signal that even the most compliance-bound corners of pharma are ready for real automation.
