Quarterly salons, secret perks, and other ethically complex rewards.
This is the first proper membership tier for The Ethical Trip. It’s for people who want to support the work I’m doing and get a little weirdness and access in return.
For $7/month or $70/year (AUD), Founding Readers get:
Full access to the member archive (all existing and future posts, tools, guides, etc.)
Quarterly live salon calls (starting in August)
Access to an as-yet unpublished Founding Member Perks page which will include discount codes, undercooked thought experiments, and other things that may never be fit to see the light of day
Anything else I think of or is suggested to me in the next month that doesn't seem like a terrible idea
I'll even throw in a shout-out for you or your business in the newsletter and/or social media, if that's something you'd be interested in.
If you're already a monthly supporter, I haven't forgotten you and will be sending your invite shortly.
This support helps me pay the bills, but also will allow me to do things like pay for a higher (i.e., not free) tier with my newsletter provider, beehiiv. This in turn will allow me access to tools that will help The Ethical Trip reach more people as well as integrated survey and poll tools that would help make the newsletter a bit more interactive. If we reach that point I'd also have the option of paid newsletter memberships. If that happens I'll set things up for members so that no one loses any access/perks etc. (But let's cross that bridge when we come to it.)
This tier is open until August 25. After that, I'll replace it with a new set of memberships. I haven't worked out all the details, but the $7/month tier won't be as generous. (No pressure.)
