If you haven’t heard, our province is fighting monsters. Monsters which are burning homes and communities around BC. There are evacuations happening all around where we live - so far our community is safe but we made the decision to self evacuate as we only have one way in/out and felt the risk of being trapped was too high. Here are some photos I took from our deck across Shuswap Lake.
