About Sailing Agora
Stories of our adventures highlighting life outside of work!
We’re a Canadian paramedic-and-educator couple sailing the Pacific Northwest on a catamaran with our German Shepherd first mate, while preparing for a Pacific crossing in 2027. We work challenging jobs, and although these videos are not always fun to make, we do it to show that there’s more to life than the next shift. Come for the sunsets or mistakes, and stay for the quirky reminder that adventure is the best medicine.
After years of sailing on other people's boats, we bought S/V Agora, a 2007 Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi catamaran in September 2020 in Martinique. Right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, we sailed her back across the Caribbean Sea through the Panama Canal to Canada.
