When October Wakes is finally live. Inspired by prompts from the podcast I joined, a compendium of short stories came to life. It called out to be printed and after several intense months...it is 'live' and available in three versions...hardcover, paperback and Kindle e-book.
It was not rushed. Not hurried into being.
But made carefully, the way some books ask to be made—solid, lasting, meant to be kept.
This version came into the world because there were readers who stayed, who supported the work quietly, who believed stories like these deserved a body that could endure being picked up again years from now.
That matters more than I know how to say cleanly.
