About Jake Gillis
Bringing Israeli culture to the Diaspora (Podcast and Substack)

Originally from Pittsburgh and proud of the black and yellow. I am a lover of Israeli culture - from Ishay Ribo and Ravid Plotnik's musical stylings to the delicious food of Machane Yehedua Shuk and so much in between.

I made aliyah to Israel in 2019 and currently live in Tel Aviv. Beyond my podcast Sababoosh and a Substack, I also give talks to groups about Israeli culture.
