Thank you to everyone who has supported me this last year. Truly from the bottom of my heart.
So IDES decided that they're not going to pay me for some reason. I certified Tuesday, January 26th, and have yet to receive payment. A friend of mine had to pay my car payment last week, but it's uncertain on what I'm going to do for the next one. I can't afford rent... again.
January 6th I received a text message from an old employer of mine saying that her accountant was pinged by IDES stating someone filed a new claim for unemployment (I haven't worked for her since 2019, and the "claimant" said I worked from March 2020-Dec 2020 when IDES previously had my info that I have not worked since March 2020) . It obviously was fraud and her accountant and myself reported the fraud under the fraudster's claim number. I have had my own claim number and have previously received payments with no issue, but I'm under the impression my funds are being held because of a fraud claim. I'm on the dreaded callback list from IDES and have yet to receive any form of communication with them. I emailed my state representative in hopes to receive some kind of support. I'm frustrated because, I'm on SNAP benefits so I can survive, but the bills don't stop coming... Thank you again to everyone for their support.
I have since applied for an at home office job that is temporarily remote due to the pandemic (FINALLY A JOB THAT'S SAFE) and have had a zoom interview since. I'm hoping I land this job so that I'm in a place where I can help the people that have helped me and more. Thank you thank you for sticking by me, and being so kind.
