Romans 8:14 .For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
How can one be led by the spirit of God? Before one can be led by the spirit of God, we must first be baptised and filled with the spirit of God.
The next step is to develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit . Building relationships with the Holy Spirit involves fellowship with the Holy Spirit through the word of God. You can also Build relationships with the Holy Spirit through praying with the scriptures and praying in the Holy Ghost.
You can also build relationship with the Holy Spirit by meditation on God's word, God's word carry God's spirit, the word and the Spirit are one. John 6:63. It is the spirit that quickened, the words that I speak to you they are spirit and life.
Having God's word richly dwelling in your heart is easy for the Holy Spirit to minister to you or guide you.
For one to be led by the Spirit, You must be willing to summit the authority of God's word first, and also be willing to yield to dictates and the promptings of the Spirit of God in your heart.
Secondly for us to be led by the spirit of God, we must put on Christ and be renewed in the spirit of the mind . Ephesians 4:23-24. How can one put on Christ by putting off concerning your former conversation and lifestyle, character that contradict your new nature in Christ.
For one to be led forth by the Spirit, We must crucify the flesh and lust, and passion that war against the spirit of God in us. We must bear spiritual fruits. Ephesians 5:22-26
In conclusion, to be led by the spirit, we must be filled with the spirit and baptised in the Holy Spirit first and be guided by the word of God.
