it has been just 1 week since I played my concert Piano in the Garden here in Berlin and what a magical evening it was! It made me think that music brought me to so many different places this year.
when I moved to Berlin 8 years ago, the idea of moving here was connected to the fact that I wanted to go back to the stages to perform my songs on the piano. Little by little, I am finding my way, finding my audience and the places where my music belongs.
in April, me and my friend Marcelo Politano played in Tallinn - Estonia at Tallinn Music Week 2024. I also had the chance to play for the first time at Fusion Festival in Germany and had a film + music performance in Porto - Portugal with the Brazilian visual artist Letícia Ramos.
here is a song I've been playing live in all my previous concerts. It's called Ambient Vamp, I wrote it last year and it was recorded live in Berlin. My matey José Aurélio is with me on this one, playing a very rare instrument from Brazil called Timbatera.
