On Tuesday, July 25th, I had the pleasure of visiting Nursteed Road, the home of Devizes Town Football Club. I was there to livestream the match between the hosts and Royal Wootton Bassett Town. This was a pre-season friendly, and although goalless at halftime, the match fired up right from the off in the second period.
Devizes came out on top of the higher-league opponents with a 3-0 victory. The home side looked the brighter and scored two good goals from open play and a well-taken penalty.
A big thank you to Tom and Dan for the warm welcome, along with other members of the club. I hope to be back for a future match. I am sure Devizes will do well this season, having gained promotion last season. They look a strong side and have excellent players in the squad.
