About 4 months ago I released my first considerable product, https://linksbook.me. It is a tool to help you organise your bookmarks under folders such that it would be easy to navigate in them and know where to find which bookmark. I felt very happy when I launched it on product hunt.
During the first 24 hours, it gained traction and over 20 users. I thought I was doing alright and stop working on it because I believed it was good enough to leave it that way. The app had some bugs and issues here and there but I did not consider improving it.
Some months later, I felt l had to improve the app and build a new one from scratch, more complete and full of useful features for bookmark power users. I decided to learn what users needed and went in that direction. Here is an Indie Hacker post from some time ago (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/building-a-browser-bookmarking-tool-fd34cc8ff0). I discussed with friends and potential users and now I have taken a good head-start to launch a newer version of the app very soon.
I started rebuilding https://linksbook.me as V2 few weeks ago and believe I have gone 40%+ complete. The app is usable and much better than the previous one in terms of security, UI/UX and completeness.
