I’ve written an article about palliative care and Dad’s passing for a patient advocacy and education magazine called Heal Canada. Heal Canada magazine is spearheaded by Cheryl Jacobs-Petruk, whom I bumped into a few years ago at MacEwan University when I was working there, but I've known her since we were in high school together, before all the experiences that encouraged Cheryl to spearhead change for patients navigating the health system. Her work is important in the area of voices and action needed in health and advocacy work.
