"Martín (Mexico)Arecibo Message Arriving at a Galactic Center Henon-Heiles models the nonlinear dynamics (sometimes chaotic) of a star around a galactic center. These images represent the galactic dynamics being perturbed by the Arecibo message in the form of linear bits, that is, the 1679 binary string perturbing the equations of motion. The images show the phase-space projection of the 4 variables that compose the equations. Every projection conveys the idea of how the arrival of the Arecibo message would "shake" the dynamics of a planet (or group of planets) once they hear from us, the homo sapiens, probably gone or now exploring the Universe."
