For the month of April, I must have been in a yellow mood, because the linocut block print I did this month, was also yellow like the rain-boot. I was thinking about Earth Day coming up on April 22 and how bees are such an important part of our lives. In addition to making delicious honey for our toast, tee and all, they help so many parts of nature. So I was thinking of how I could be a bit more bee like, trying to help out where I can and started with this little bee print. It is a golden yellow background with a black print of three bees and some honeycomb shapes. Each of the yellow background prints are a little different some more golden, some more yellow, that I think adds a little something unique to each one.
