I would like to introduce myself again for some people who may not know me yet.
I’m Riikochan. i’m a freelance artist. I specialize in anime-style character illustrations. I also started to become a vtuber mama since 2020.
Aside from being an artist, i’m also IRL mom. I have a 5-year-old son who is already going pre-school. My husband is still in his college and he has been working all his way out to finish school and get a job so he could start helping his own family and work on our dreams like he had always been.
In our current situation, I’m the only capable of working to provide for my family and to cover all of our monthly expenses. I have been working extra hard because i simply want our son to have a better life and also to help out my husband finish his college because i wanted him to start achieving his dreams.
I started working as a Vtuber Mama/ Vtuber Model Illustrator knowing primarily this would help us sustain my family’s needs and expenses while i wholeheartedly enjoy creating/illustrating varieties of beautiful characters turn into model. Up until now, i still enjoy creating them in which i also dream of becoming a vtuber model illustrator for a famous vtuber company one day.
Now, our life is getting even harder for us in which i have already reached my working limit.
Months ago, the school requested to have our son checked to a developmental pedia due to his behavioral issues and it wasn’t easy for us to book one because there were only few of them in our country and the earliest we could get is on around 2025.
Luckily, we found one due to the other bookings getting cancelled. And we just had him checked up last June 20, 2024. And he’s diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder with Pragmatic Language. So he’s required to undergo Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy in the course of 6 months and so.
My current work would not be able to cover up the extra expense for my son’s therapy so i decided to open this page for donations and the goal will purely go to my son’s therapy while i’m incapable of accepting new commissions. I’m currently loaded with pending commissions in which i need to accomplish as soon as i can.
The therapy would cost around 1,800php a week which is equivalent to 30.60USD a week. Which estimates 122.4USD monthly.
Additionally, he might be required to go on a Special Education program (in case he didn’t get accepted for a regular class Grade 1) which would mean another monthly expense for me. But i’m currently working my way out on this so i’ll see if he would be able to attend a regular class or the Special Education program this coming School Year (August).
So any amount/coffees will surely help for my son’s monthly therapy 🙏
I will also set a reward for a certain amount of coffee donated. The said reward will be scheduled in 3 months or early October 2024 due to my worklist.
