Αυτό το Σαββατοκύριακο, 26–27 Σεπτεμβρίου, η REthink ANIMALS θα βρίσκεται στο Vegan Vibes September, στη Δημοτική Αγορά Κυψέλης.
Για πρώτη φορά, υλικό από την έρευνα THIS IS GYROS θα παρουσιαστεί μέσα από έκθεση φωτογραφίας, δίνοντας στο κοινό τη δυνατότητα να δει από κοντά μέρος όσων καταγράφηκαν σε χοιροτροφικές μονάδες στην Ελλάδα.
Παράλληλα, εκπρόσωπος της UNLOCKED, της οργάνωσης ερευνητικής δημοσιογραφίας με την οποία πραγματοποιήσαμε την έρευνα, θα παρουσιάσει στο κοινό όσα αποκαλύφθηκαν και θα μιλήσει για την πραγματικότητα της ελληνικής χοιροτροφίας.
Η ομάδα της REthink ANIMALS θα βρίσκεται επίσης στον χώρο για να γνωριστούμε, να συζητήσουμε για την έρευνα, τα επόμενα βήματα της καμπάνιας και τη δουλειά που σχεδιάζουμε για το επόμενο διάστημα.
Η δημοσιοποίηση της έρευνας ήταν μόνο η αρχή. Ακολουθούν συνηγορία, πίεση προς τις αρμόδιες αρχές, περαιτέρω επικοινωνία των ευρημάτων, δημόσιες δράσεις και κινητοποίηση της κοινωνίας.
Και η σταθερή στήριξη είναι αυτή που μας επιτρέπει να συνεχίσουμε από την αποκάλυψη στην πίεση και από την πίεση στη δράση.

This weekend, 26–27 September, REthink ANIMALS will be at Vegan Vibes September at the Kypseli Municipal Market in Athens.
Material from our THIS IS GYROS investigation will be presented through a photography exhibition, giving visitors the opportunity to see part of what was documented inside and around pig farms in Greece.
A representative of UNLOCKED, the investigative journalism organisation we collaborated with on the investigation, will also present the findings and discuss what the investigation revealed about pig farming in Greece.
The REthink ANIMALS team will be there throughout the event to meet visitors, discuss the investigation, the next steps of the campaign and the work we are building for the months ahead.
Publishing the investigation was only the beginning. What follows includes advocacy, sustained pressure on the relevant authorities, further public communication, public actions and mobilisation.
Regular support gives us the stability to move from exposing what happens to building pressure and taking action.
