The Blessing Jar

The Blessing Jar

Oct 13, 2026

A blessing jar is a way to sweeten relationships, to calm petty hearts and to bring sweetness and blessings into your world.

Get yourself a lovely jar or bowl…no lid is required. Decorate it if you want, but just make sure it’s something you would be happy keeping in an open space in your home.

Set your intention and charge the vessel. Give it a good cleaning with loving thoughts in your mind and touch. Then, sit with it. Hold it and pour all of your love into it. Tell it that you’ve created it to spread blessings to those you are going to place inside. Then give it a place of honor on a shelf or table. You can place some dried flower petals in the bottom if you like…or perhaps some salt and dried herbs (dried orange peel, mint, dried flowers to name a few) or even some uncooked rice (brings abundance).

When you have an enemy whom you’d like to show compassion to, someone you have a rocky relationship with, someone who could use some help in life or a friend or family member who needs blessings, write those people’s names on a small piece of paper, sprinkle it with sugar, cinnamon and maybe some flower petals. Fold the paper up and place it in the vessel.

Fill the jar or bowl with names and people you’ve blessed and spread good vibes only.

This is what Yeshua meant when he told us to love our enemies and neighbors.

I love you all…and stay weird,

Ginger
