Here in Oldham, those involved in the cover up of gang rape of children have mobilised the MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS and the already disgraced local democracy reporter CHARLOTTE GREEN. This is what they do. This is why we must fight back and use our own voices to share the truth of our stories.
The BBC funded local democracy reporter CHARLOTTE GREEN wrote an article on the political upheaval in Oldham for the Manchester Evening News. This is my analysis of it. I also think a definition of gaslighting would be helpful.
Political gaslighting is not defined by the gaslighter’s intentions — but by the effect their manipulations have on the public. Its purpose is to trigger doubts about either public recollections of “settled matters of historical fact”, or worse, lose faith in the very possibility of truthful discussion – or in our own views.
As always, I leave it to people to decide who is telling the truth and who the bare faced lies.
