Here is the first prototype of the ROV 180VR cam. It is 2 Blackmagic Micro Studio G2 cameras, iZugar 3.25 fisheye lenses, in a 3D printed enclosure. The Cine records to USB-C devices, so I tested a T7 Shield and a WD_Black M.2 which both worked fine to record BRaw 8:1. The cameras can be accessed via ethernet, so I also need an USB-C to ethernet adapter, and a Raspberry Pi to control the cameras. There is no Bluetooth on the Micro Studio, so no iPhone control app. My plan is to write a custom iphone app to talk with the Raspberry Pi to synchronize starting recording, also to access the media. This camera does support sync via SDI, so that will be a future project finding a compact sync device.
