Hi, my name is Jimmy and I to take pictures. Photographic pictures. I also like music, and words. And I like to combine pictures, words and music into a slightly existentialist, vaguely pop-cultural broth spiced with a pinch of satire.

Critique is necessary to put a finger at what is, and more importantly –what could have been.

I like to move in the fringe. Where there are traces of humanity but no humans. There is beauty to find in the cracks in society, in the small patches of urban wasteland in the middle of a city, a seldom used set of stairs, the awkwardly placed bench where only those that know that they are invisible to rest of us dare to sit. Withering concrete, cracked asphalt and unused train tracks covered in rust are scars in the city, reminding us that we are but temporary.

Now, if you thought that was pretentious... I haven't even gotten started yet.

I'll be posting photos, almost always with a comment and a link to some music that popped into my mind as I was editing the photo. On rarer occasions I might write longer texts. Not brilliantly, I might add, but worth at least a passing glance. But then I am biased.

Most of my photos are available as prints in a variety of sizes. Sadly not all due to certain issues related to incompetence, back-ups and general hard drive issues.
